Online Editor
Create graphic-rich HTML newsletters with links, images, multiple fonts, colors, tables, bullets and backgrounds. No technical expertise needed.
Copy and Paste HTML
If you use DreamWeaver, Frontpage or another HTML design program, simply copy your HTML code into the console editor.
Ready-to-Go Templates
Base your design on a range of cool templates including announcements, product releases, press releases, newsletters in different formats, invitations and holiday season cards. Our templates can be quickly modified to incorporate your content. Otherwise, design your own or ask us to customize a design for you.
Image Hosting and Management
Using your unique personal account, upload your images to our server, saving on bandwidth and ensuring consistency of delivery. It also provides you with a centralized repository for your image files.
Test message
Send yourself a quick test message of your newsletter from the console to verify that it is correctly formatted and the way you want it to look.
HTML or text-only
Create a text-only version of your newsletter so that your customers receive the right format. There are still some email clients that cannot read HTML emails. ItsInTheMail is reverse MIME compliant and will automatically determine whether or not the email client can read HTML. If it cannot, our system will ensure they see the text version of the email, as long as you have selected this option in the manage console editor design section.

Design a subscription form
Grow your mailing list through a link on your website to a personalised 'subscribe' form. You choose what information from your users you wish to collect by setting up the subscribe form. This includes selecting or creating the fields your users must fill in and making the form conform to your website's 'look and feel'.
Flexible list maintenance
Easily import a mailing list into your ItsInTheMail account. Add, modify or delete email addresses in mailing lists using different methods, such as copy & paste, import a text or CSV file, or do it one by one. You can transfer addresses between lists, edit the status of email addresses and export lists by different categories, such as All Subscriptions, New Subscriptions or All in Mailing List.
No more 'mail delivery failed'
Automated delivery and management of bounces and unsubscribes. Our system continually validates every email address in your list. When you send out a mailer, the system automatically allocates a code to each email, such as HB (hard bounce), OK (Okay - exists), S (subscribed) and U (unsubscribed).
Two click unsubscribe
Users can easily unsubscribe from your emails. ItsInTheMail complies strictly to the Australian Spam Act, CAN-SPAM legislation of the United States, the European Privacy Directive and also takes into account the Global Spam Acts. We do not tolerate users who try to use ItsInTheMail as SPAM software. Our system is mostly used by users who build up lists through our voluntary subscribe/ unsubscribe mechanism.

Import & export addresses
Easily import and export email addresses from Microsoft Excel spreadsheets or text files (plain or delimited) into specific mailing lists.
Capture subscriber demographics
Datasets can be associated with each email address. You can collect data through your subscription form. We provide a default dataset that is easy to set up, with fields such as first name, last name, email address, occupation, gender, country and more.
Scheduled delivery
Send your email immediately or schedule to send it up to 1 month later. Schedule a specific time of day for delivery.

Open and Click Rates
See how many people (total numbers and percentage of the mailing list) opened your email (and the time and date they did so). Maybe more importantly, see who didn't open the mail! Track how many people and who clicked on which links in the email, as well as how many (and who) forwarded it.
Track Subscribes / Unsubscribes
Watch your list grow. View addresses of recipients who subscribe or unsubscribe to or from each mailing list and the exact time and date they did so.
Trends over time
Track and extract the email addresses of people who have subscribed or unsubscribed over a period (days, months, years); or who have consistently opened or have not opened emails over a period. Extract people who have forwarded over a period; or have clicked links over a period; or addresses that have 'hard bounced' (returned to sender) over a period.
Invalid addresses
View total bounced and invalid addresses per mailing list. You have the option to purge these and/or export them as a separate list.
Save the lists
Extract email addresses from the above categories and export them as lists. In other words, we give you the ability to target groups of people based on their click behavior.
Credit usage
View total emails sent and credit information of the number of emails still available on your account.
Basic summary
This section tells you the payment plan you're on, when your account renews and how many send credits you have left. It also tallies the total email addresses, total unsubscribes, total mailing lists and total hard bounces that exist in your account.
Detailed summary
See a summary of stats from your last three sends. See how many clicks you got, what was the most popular link, the least popular link, the percentage of that mailing list who opened the mail and how many people unsubscribed. You can also see a list of the last subscribed and the last unsubscribed addresses.

Internet Explorer / Windows ItsInTheMail
Runs on any Windows PC with Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5, or higher. No downloads or plug-ins are required. Some advanced editor functions will only be available when running Internet Explorer 6.0. IE 7 can be downloaded free from www.microsoft.com. In Internet Explorer you can check the version of your browser under the Help > About menu.
